One-piece swimsuits get dissed a lot. They can be way less fun than bikinis, but some are great. Take, for example, this BTC suit. It’s got a sweetheart neckline and will definitely make you look sexy. If it’s not enough support, it comes with a strap for your neck. ($154)

crystal pencils
29. June 2007

624pencils.jpg

I have no idea why you would need Swarovski crystals on your pencils, but something about it seems ridiculously glam and fabulous. I bet Oprah has these on her desk. ($20 for three)

Apparently, I’ve got a poster thing these days. I like the prints and posters done by strawberry luna. There’s concert posters, but also prints of original artwork like this crazy thing. Awesome. ($15)

Etsy: Wallpaper pendant

Groovy Glass Girl makes a variety of things out of glass, but this pendant, made with wallpaper, really stood out to me. It’s got a dark pantina to it, which makes the necklace look like an antique. ($20)

The morph futon by Innovations is perfect for someone in a studio. The futon is modern, but totally functional, with four different head positions and a relax position. ($800)

cow glasses

624cow-glasses.jpg

Moo! These cow glasses make me chuckle and I don’t even drink milk. They’re made from reclaimed glass and you can get a plain glass frosted with cow spots or a frosted glass with clear cow spots on it. Even the frosting is eco-friendly ($34 for four)

Buy it.

foldable flip-flops
28. June 2007

6-24flipflop1.jpg

Flexflops are made for emergencies. Like that time you went to get a pedicure, but were wearing stilettos instead of flipflops and had to go out in those gross cheap flipflops they give you sometimes. No more. You can pack up these flipflops and throw them in your purse or car for such emergencies. The straps are sliding, so they can work around your new toes.

fruit dishtowel

624dishtowl.jpg

I could almost frame this dishtowel. I’m not even sure I’d want to use it on my dishes, it’s so pretty. The Ekelund family makes this towel, and they’re so green, they’re offices are solar-powered.

Buy it.

under the canopy sale
27. June 2007

6-24-hoodie.jpg

Under the Canopy has a bunch of organic clothing that doesn’t appear…well, like a hippie made it (no offense to hippies, I like the patchworks skirts, sometimes). They have a whole bunch of stuff on sale for men, women and kids right now, including this cozy-looking hoodie. ($82.60)
