I’m usually one for posting a single item, but I found white forest pottery while poking through the blogger recommendations at design*sponge.

All of their designs are so simple and delicate, I loved everything that I saw. I wanted ot fill my kitchen with the white pottery, some with bright interiors.

Bobby, my nephew, has to sleep with a nightlight. And the nightlight has to be on in the hall too. For my sister, they don’t really mesh with her modern decor. I think I’ll get her this cute jackrabbit nightlight from Elsewheres. It’s got a good glow, but isn’t, you know, a Glade Plug-in. ($46)

Flor tells me their sample carpet pieces are now 6 inches. I think that’s bigger than before, but does anyone know for sure? I’m pretty sure Ms. Stewart’s collection was sample-able before, but bigger swatches would be great.

wearing: My Levi’s 501s. Comfortable defined.

wanting: a flat iron, perhaps a Solia. I have cute short hair and it’s now required.

drinking: a lot of bloody marys and Chai Chargers from West End.

Forever 21’s higher end line, twelve by twelve, launched today. I think there’s only one store in LA, but you can buy online. A few things I thought were cute:

It’s just a bustier, but It would make a great piece for layering. ($20)

This looks perfect for fall. I love the sweater wrappy goodness of it. ($29)

Quilted usually ends up looking….fat and puffy. But this quilted jacket has a lean look to it. ($39)
