Writers need journals. I was cleaning out my bookshelf the other day and came across two journals I haven’t even used. Doesn’t matter though, I’ll keep buying. I love the way this monk journal looks. I can totally see some Franciscan hanging out in his robes, jotting down thoughts about God and the world. Although pricey, it’ll be a journal you have for the rest of your life. ($130)

Hey Kim,
1. I am glad that you brought the journal up to give laptops a break. An actual journal is much more personal and plus it looks more interesting on my night table.
2. I loved the not quite backless top that you featured.
3. I talk to my cat too, and yes…they listen.
