Not that this whole web site isn’t a gigantic wishlist, but I thought for the holidays I’d highlight things I want and things other people have pointed out. I’ll try and post at least one of these a day, but no promises.

I’ve wanted a pashmina for a long time. I seem to always need one when traveling or even just sitting in a coffee shop (which I do a lot these days). I have a el cheapo pashmina at home, which was bought for $5 at Kohl’s, but it’s not real. Real Pashminas are cashmere and incredibly soft. They’re also quite expensive, but a staple item.

When buying pashminas, make sure you aim for a higher ply, which means there are more threads weaved in (someone correct me if I’m wrong). single ply pashminas are no where near as nice as 3-ply.

My favorite so far is this really pretty pink and grey ombre pashmina. Ombre is all the rage and it’d let me wear a lot of outfits. ($79)
