fine jewelry week: jenni caldwell
Jenni Caldwell is a Swedish and Scottish designer who has a knack for clean, simple jewelry that also knocks your socks off. OK, that may be a bit cheesy.
But her jewelry has the right amount of precision that makes it grand — and simple — enough to carry a whole outfit. This is the kind of jewelry that goes from a slinky black dress to a nice shirt and jeans without losing it’s beauty.

This sycamore neck cuff is amazing. I imagine hte leaves are a little flowy, and would move perfectly to offset the rigidity of the neck cuff. Caldwell’s site lists her major influences as the cool light of Northern climates and the environment and it’s definitely evident here.

This silver arm cuff is made from a single sheet of metal, which is then cut and them made to fit eat wearer. It’s supposed to go from about your wrist up your forearm. It looks so delicate, like a piece of ice.
This lightness carries throughout everything she makes. Even the heavily adorned pieces do not seem heavy or ornate. They remain simple.
