I finally got up off my butt and am taking yoga classes. So, of course, this is setting me off on a path of looking for stuff for yogis.
First off if a yoga mat bag. I’d wanted one before, but I’d never taken classes, so it wasn’t really necessary. Now it is. Lugging my mat around is no fun. Most yoga mat bags are pretty boring, with a simple tube or a duffel bag type look. Some get fancier and are work bags with straps or messenger bags, but those are out of my price range.
Here are two that I do like, mostly because they multi-task. You know how I love things that multi-task.

Made by TKUU is fashion defined. It’s a polyester bland fabric and can be made into a head wrap or a belt when it’s not toting around your bag. I think there are two pull ties that let you hold your mat in it. My worry is that it’s too trendy (working out is not a runway) and that it wouldn’t hold anything else. I’d like my bag to at least hold my keys.
I do love print and I could use it if my yoga phase ends.
Green blue only. $40 on sale from $60.

My second option is a little more earthy. The multi-tasker bag is made by Ashima. There are two little snaps on the ends that convert the bag in to a purse for everyday use. In side are pockets for your keys, ID and such.
I like the pretty boho print (you can get flowers or fish) and the usefulness of this bag. In addition, Ashima makes these bags out of recycled cotton and indigo dyes, which aren’t as harmful as chemical dyes.
Available in sunflowers and fish. $28.50.
So which should it be?
