They should get a rescued pure bred retired racer Greyhound.
They are an ancient, elegant breed with short hair which won’t require extensive grooming. They have a sense of humor, are relaxed and great with kids. They love to have fun and run around and also lounge around and snuggle. And they are BEAUTIFUL.
That way BOTH rescue AND pure-bred, too.
