I apologize for the lack of posts. I have a family thing going on, but I’ll get back to it now.
I love this tiny little keychain that is way cuter than what I’ve got. It’d be a great stocking stuffer for just about anyone.

I’m going to be honest. I gave up on reading Cosmo a long time ago.
The articles started to repeat themselves and I didn’t need anymore tips for the bedroom. Really.
So I was a little skeptical when they offered to send me a book of sexy beauty secrets. I was not quite sure what sexy beauty entailed.
The book is really, like many beauty books, a compilation of tips for your skin hair and more. It’s not a book for people who have every beauty product known to man in their bathroom.
This is a probably a good book for your sister who wears makeup, but doesn’t know what to do with it. Or maybe your 16-year-old niece who just got into skincare. It’s well put together and organized, with great illustrations.
I did really like some of the tips in the book. They were kind of like the beauty editor secrets you find in magazines, spread equally all over the book.

Need a good hostess gift? I’d aim for an awesome Le Viette towel gift. They’re pretty premium towels folded and tied to look like pastries!
They’re at decent prices, too. I’d stock up!

Having a headache is one thing, having a adorable package of acetaminophen that instantly makes your headache go away is another.
The Help I Have Headache tablet is a pretty little packet you can definitely leave out to show the world that you’re prepared. There’s also a Help I’ve Cut Myself packet.
I hope they come out with more.

My dad is a hard guy to shop for. Generally, he’s happy with just a phone call for Father’s Day, but that is just not enough, really. I can’t seem to decide whether he’s a gadget type or a gardener type.
Juliet Shops is a site where the work is done for you. Like Violet, it groups gifts based on his interests. Not sure still? You can take a quiz to find appropriate gifts.

Lifestraw is a great idea. He can provide about 15,000 liters of drinking water per family. We take water for granted sometimes. It’s not always clean everywhere and it’s not always free.
They wrote more about it over at Inhabitat. It seems like such a simple, great solution to a huge problem.
Find out more about the Lifestraw project.
Do you want to help? You can donate $15 to the Ft Lauderdale Rotary Club and you can help a family in Tanzania, Malawi and Ghana. They’re working to give 10,000 Lifestraws to the area.
