on my wishlist: mighty mouse

mighty mouse is here to save the day!

Although the flying rodent would be pretty cool, I actually want the bluetooth computer mouse. My wrist demands it and it looks sooo cool and ultra portable. What Mac geek doesn’t want one?

(While you’re at it, could you get me Leopard too?)

kensie outfit at dillard's

Ever since I saw this photo in a magazine maybe four months ago, I’ve dreamed of this outfit. Serious. I dreamed of myself running through fields, singing at the top of my lungs in it. OK. Maybe I just daydreamed about how cool it would look on me. I still want it. ($118 for pants, $68 for top)

Get it.

what is on your wishlist?

OK, We’ve had enough of me. I’m looking for other people’s wishlists now.

E-mail me one thing, cost doesn’t matter, that you would like for Xmas. It must be available online and you have to tell my why you want it.

Or it can be something you intend on getting someone, it doesn’t matter.

things i love: sigg water bottles

sigg water bottles

Nalgene sucks. It doesn’t matter whether or not you believe the whole toxic leaching plastic thing, They’re pretty ugly and I don’t stand for ugly things. Especially ugly things that you will be seen with all the time. Good design should be an every day thing. Serious.

So get a SIGG water bottle. I love mine. The water can sit in there for days and it still tastes fine. I’m trying to train myself [...]

ombre pashmina

Not that this whole web site isn’t a gigantic wishlist, but I thought for the holidays I’d highlight things I want and things other people have pointed out. I’ll try and post at least one of these a day, but no promises.

I’ve wanted a pashmina for a long time. I seem to always need one when traveling or even just sitting in a coffee shop (which I do a lot these [...]

Writers need journals. I was cleaning out my bookshelf the other day and came across two journals I haven’t even used. Doesn’t matter though, I’ll keep buying. I love the way this monk journal looks. I can totally see some Franciscan hanging out in his robes, jotting down thoughts about God and the world. Although pricey, it’ll be a journal you have for the rest of your life. ($130)
Get it. [...]

maxine gifts: gift-giving made easy

9-23-maxine.jpg

I love buying gifts for birthdays and such, but sometimes, I’m lazy. Lets face it. I’m lazy. I like to get really cool, handmade stuff as often as I can, but sometimes I forget. Like my mom’s birthday, when even the card was sent three days too late. Sometimes, you just need an emergency backup gift on hand. This is where Maxine gifts comes in hand. Instead of sending my mom a card with a [...]
