Woot is one of my favorite sites for random techiness.

Every day they have a new item from games to TVs to digital cameras, for super deals. the sale lasts one day or until their sold out.

Every once in a while, they’ll have a woot-off, which means they’ll put up a bunch of inventory and instead of one item a day, it’ll be one new item after another. It’s fantastic and addictive.

LA-ites, I’ve got something awesome for you.

Until May 24th, stop by Quiksilver’s siteLA and drop off some of your trash — tapes, cd cases, etc — and then watch them turn into a piece of art! Upcoming events will recycle different items.

If you stop by tomorrow for the opening, you can watch the artists and work and have some drinks.

This just in and I mean literally just fell in my inbox. Tomorrow Bluefly is launching a new contemporary site, called B*fly, meant to link haute couture with casual wear.

I’m not exactly sure what that means, but from the looks of the screenshots they sent, we’re getting more everyday type clothing and experimental in one store. Sounds like a great combo to me.

Soof Designs is having a spring trunk show at auto in NYC. Soof makes awesome new with some old quilts that I’d love ot get my hands on. I think I’m turning into a grandmother. I wear aprons to cook and I lust after quilts.

Generate’s Pipeline is a place for designers to congregate and look at what they’ve created. Then there’s discussions on how they work and how to improve them. It’s a great place to view new work and I’m certain to keep my eye on it.
