I had a hypercolor tee when I was a kid. I saved up my pennies and got one from Target (I think).
My mom returned it.
Since then I’ve been a little bit bitter, and I’ve wanted a hypercolor tee that no one would return unless I wanted them to. I think American Apparel must be on my page lately because they came out with this hypercolor tee, although they call it thermochromatic.
There’s a few colors and black is coming soon. Fantastic. But would you get it? Or is it too ’80s for you?

It’s amazing how one person sees a mess and another sees a work of art. That adage “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” is totally true.
Marker stains normally annoy people, but this totally awesome designer saw potential. Just make your design with the bleeding markers, then wash and create something new. Fantastic.

This is an old link, but the gals over at Jezebel tried on a bunch of stuff at AA in January, to prove that it isn’t for real people.
In AA’s defense: I think they’re a great brand for tees and skirts and other wardrobe staples. I doubt that *most* people buy the stuff that the jezzies tried on. I mostly see people buying simple dresses and hoodies.

Quiksilver has always been a surfer/skater brand to me.
I have no basis for that assumption, but I’ve never really found anything that fit me from the line.
But this summer, they’re launching a new collection. It looks pretty nice. A good mix of casual and dressy items.
They’re going to be out officially in July, but if you’re near Santa Monica stop by The Closet on Main Street and you might be able to snag some.
