When Birkenstocks became popular in my high school, I scoffed. They were so expensive and….ugly. I was in my goth phase then and much preferred big bulky black boots.
Then today, I read on Fasshonaburu that Phillip Lim recently designed some Birks. Really? And they’re not two-strap ugly things?
