Just in time for spring, the Container Store has picked up these nice desk accessories from Semikolon. I really like the bright colors and all the lids for the different boxes are hinged, so they won’t get lost in the shuffle.

The desktop file would be good if you keep different sets of paperwork and not as ugly or bulky as a filing cabinet. ($24.99)

Get it at the Container Store.

jennifer delonge storage boxes
20. November 2007

Jennifer Delonge does a lot with kids stuff. Couches I would like as an adult, nifty chairs, etc. But I want these storage boxes for myself. You can get a lacquered top or a chalkboard top and the lids work well on their own as pretty trays. I like the idea of these stacked up in a corner of my office, with the lids used for whenever I have company and not enough hard surfaces. ($299-329)

Get it.

postman’s boxes

I wish I could find a better picture, but check out the lower left hand corner. See those little boxes? They’re postman’s boxes and I’m in love with them. They can store all sorts of little goodies for the office, and would totally clear out my packed drawers, which nicely keep my desk top clean, but just move the clutter elsewhere. It’s a bad habit, I know. ($44)

Buy it.

container store wooden boxes

I’ve been on a Container store binge for a few weeks now. I just found out about these gorgeous feathergrain boxes (they have big chests too). It’s a lightweight wood and fits in perfectly with the natural tones we’ve been seeing for fall. ($20-25)

Buy it.

This is just over that line of cheesy and magnificent for me. A snail puzzle box with a super secret hiding spot for your goodies. ($14 at doe)
