I think my nephews would like this. It looks like fun, even for adults and woukd probably result in less scratches and bruises than the chalk and asphalt version. ($170)

Flor tells me their sample carpet pieces are now 6 inches. I think that’s bigger than before, but does anyone know for sure? I’m pretty sure Ms. Stewart’s collection was sample-able before, but bigger swatches would be great.

Flor has some more new patterns and textiles. I really like the Shangri-La, which is kind of a shag. It’s got a great look to it, with a brown and greys to pick from. ($16 a tile)
