I’ve got a soft spot for letterpress and other old-school type things. I’ve got some old letter blocks hanging out in my office and I try to pick them up whenever I see them at antique stores.

I had a media law professor in college who had a table made of the old iron letter pieces from a newspaper. Since I don’t have the pieces (or money) to make a such table, this piece from Crate & Barrel is a great option.

That is pretty impressive, that’s all I have to say. Too often going green ends up costing the consumer now, which makes it hard for everyday people to incorporate more sustainable practices in their every day life. I’m glad C&B did this without hurting my pocketbook.

 The Marrakech stuff at Crate and Barrel is really pretty. There’s sheets as well as this shower curtain, but I imagine this working really well is a mostly white bathroom like mine.

I love minimal desks. They seem cleaner to me and you can always add on if you need extra storage. The loop desk at Crate and Barrel is exactly what I’m talking about. You can add a filing cabinet to the piece and it’ll always fit in as your style changes. ($200)
