method aroma beads

There are a billion and a half ways to scent your home anymore. I’m partial to diffuser reeds and plain ol candles, but these aroma beads look great. i have a lot of tealights I need to use up and Method has yet to ever fail me in the pretty scent category.

Get it.

I have a cat. Her name is Ally Ginsberg. She’s very cute, but she can smell. And seeing as her litterbox is downstairs, where the kitchen is, we need lots of smell-diffusing items. The problem is, the plug-in ones aren’t very pretty. And my scented candles only work so well. There’s nowhere to put a reed diffuser that is out of Ally’s reach, so we’re kind of stuck.

The new Method Aroma Ring is making it’s way around the home design blog community, and I must say, it’s pretty cute, even if it does slightly resemble some kinds of birth control. The middle scented part is refillable and Method, as always is pretty Earth-friendly. But does it work?

Is that the best option? How do you scent your homes?

Quick update: Method Bloq
29. March 2007

Jon confirms it. Method Bloq is real and it looks cool. There is body wash, shave cream, lotion and bar soap in three scents: green mint, beach sage, water flower and citron leaf.

I’d personally go for the water flower, as I love all clean scents.

Gossip: Method for the body?
28. March 2007

Method is one of my favorite brands out there. They’re very green and all of their products work well and smell good.

The gossip over at Happy Mundane has it that they’re expanding into bodycare, dubbed bloq.

oh! mop.

The home blogging world is talking about method’s new omop, which is supposedly the green alternative to Swiffers. I do love my swiffer, but I often worry about all the little cloths that I’m constantly throwing away. The omop has a microfiber cloth that you can use with or without the mop fluid.

The mop itself looks more ergonomic, with a curved handle to better pressure on the floor.

My question? What do you do with your old Swiffer? Maybe you can use the microfiber pad on the Swiffer?
