So, finally, after a month without a couch, I got one.

It’s a Craigslist find and it’s great, except it needs a little cleaning. So, dear reader, how do you clean upholstery? Steam cleaning worth it? Or should I try something else?

I had a hypercolor tee when I was a kid. I saved up my pennies and got one from Target (I think).

My mom returned it.

Since then I’ve been a little bit bitter, and I’ve wanted a hypercolor tee that no one would return unless I wanted them to. I think American Apparel must be on my page lately because they came out with this hypercolor tee, although they call it thermochromatic.

There’s a few colors and black is coming soon. Fantastic. But would you get it? Or is it too ’80s for you?

I saw this top on Rachel Bilson, and I want it. I like the way she wears it tucked in, and it’s got a great print.

I don’t want to pay the $85 or whatever for it, though. Anyone seen anything similar?

I’m having a internal debate. Right now I aim to post at least once a day, most of the time two. I could effectively post more often, but I can sometimes spend a lot of time writing a product up and looking up details of this that and the other.

I’m considering adding more quick links, like interesting news stories, links to other blogs and other stuff I find.

So, I need a show of hands. Right now I keep an archive of links on my Twitter, Tumblr, StumbleUpon and other such places. My Tumblr is shown in a tab here (it’s labeled Linkage+) Do you want to see them here? Vote and discuss in the comments.

OK, We’ve had enough of me. I’m looking for other people’s wishlists now.

E-mail me one thing, cost doesn’t matter, that you would like for Xmas. It must be available online and you have to tell my why you want it.

I don’t really need one, but fall in California is not quite fall in the Midwest. So, I need a light jacket. Some options: what do you think?

I like this quilted bomber from Urban Outfitters. It’s also probably the cheapest of the set. ($54)

Grey Ant is always cute and I like the scarf dealie on this grey jacket, but it’s only good for weather where you want a scarf, I think. ($99)

A green option, which is something I’m trying to do more of. Stewart+Brown makes this organic cotton blazer which looks like the perfect mix of blazer and knit that I’ve been looking for. ($141)

It’s so beautiful I couldn’t include this jacket. it’s origami inspired and the collar is…breathtaking. It’s also made of organic cotton. ($198)

A lot of the stuff I post comes from friends. They’ll call me and say “ohmigosh, Kim you’ve got to go to this site and blog about it.”

But you know, a girl only has so many friends. So you, my virtual friends are needed. I love tips from readers, business owners or whoever else is out there. Do you have a cool store that I’ve never heard about? Sell handmade purses on etsy? Stumble across a fantastic site the other day?

I also really want to try and work with retailers to set up discounts for readers. They’re slow in coming, since many of the stores and artists I feature are struggling, but hopefully I’ll have more as time goes on.
