So here’s the deal. I’m moving not once, but twice over the next few weeks. As a result I probably won’t be able to post Friday and maybe Monday, since first move is this week.

It’s a little ridiculous right now. I’ll be in San Diego for a bit, then elsewhere in California, yet to be determined.

OK, again, I redesigned the site.

This time I really redesigned it. I tried to clean it up and get things to load a bit faster. The ads now rotate (but please still click on them, I’m hungry!), so they shouldn’t slow much down.

I’ve also decided to merge AT&A and AT&A home again. This seems wishy-washy, I know. Honestly, what happened is that I split the content to try something else (decorazzi) and it failed. I tried to keep it going in my own way and I have grossly neglected my design content as I get more and more work writing fashion content. Did I mention I now write Chic by Nature over at b5?

This way, I hope, I will get more content of both kinds in without stressing myself out.

I messed with the categories some and will probably continue to try to condense them.

I hope it’s better for you guys. Do you like it? Hate it? Wish I would make up my stinkin’ mind?

reading: The His Dark Materials Trilogy (The Golden Compass; The Subtle Knife; The Amber Spyglass by
Phillip Pullman. Actually, more like devouring. I love kid’s sci fi books apparently because I’ve been tearing through this like I did with Harry Potter.

watching: Blades of Glory. This movie is one of my favorites lately. Ever since I lost my job, I’ve need a pick me up and what is more smile-inducing than spandex and comedians?

working on: Being a better blogger. I started writing Chic By Nature in addition to IndieStyleFile and I’ve got a super secret project here that you’ll see in the next couple of weeks. It’ll be awesome and very pretty.

obsessed with: ColourLovers. For anyone that has a design fetish, whether you’re actually a designer or not, ColourLovers will entrance you. Look at color palettes, new colors and patterns to your heart’s content.

I added this nifty new application called Skribit, which will allow you guys to ask me questions or suggest topics for me to blog about.

edit: mostly upgraded. I’ve got some kinks to work out (I’m missing an ad at the moment), but all went well. Yes, the sidebars moved. I can hack the back to where they were, but I kinda like it. What do you guys think?

I’m going to update to Wordpress 2.5, and the new K2, so I might be down for a bit/things might look strange.

Back as soon as possible.

Huzzah! AT&A has made it to two years and I’m still kicking.

I feel pretty proud of the design changes I’ve made this year and how content is continually changing. But I’m more happy about having you, dear reader, hanging out with me. I often feel humbled and blessed by the fact that people actually find my opinions and style finds interesting.

So, thanks, and here’s to another year.
