It’s sort of a maxi dress, but in a more simple sense than the ’70s retro that most maxi dresses are pulling.
I like it because it’s very much boudoir ad sort of sheer, but layering, maybe with an awesome blazer, would be perfect.

My old roommate had a great collection of milk glass vases from thrift stores. She’d cluster them all together on a bookshelf with an old yellow teapot used to collect change.
She was a photographer, so she had an eye for the beautiful.
Kanibal home is a great little store with a lot of milk glass for under $15.

I like Lena Corwin’s collection of vintage craft books. I have a love for old-school cookbooks and etiquette books. I just picked up “That Girl in your Mirror: Miss America 1965 Talks Sense to Every Girl.”

Big vintage totes are the perfect thing to keep around. I use a bunch to store stuff in my closets and they’re always handy to toss stuff into for a day at the beach or lake or park. I love the colors and pattern on this tote at Vintage Amore. ($14.74)
